Thanks to a generous state grant in 2004, RehabFriendFinder.com has been able to connect more then 760 patients on release from various institutions around the nation, with compassionate host-homes that facilitate continuing recovery.

Great challenges require grand solutions, and the drug epidemic is one such challenge. Harsher punishments and longer sentences have done little to address the problem with the low cost and ready availability of drugs steadily worsening.

The recidivism rate from our program is under 6%. The national average is only 7%, which means that our recovery rate is fully 1/6th higher than the national average, and we’ve only depleted four years of budget in the accomplishment of this goal.

We are government funded, but we are a community based organization. It may be your tax dollars at work, but it can’t work without dedicated involvement from the society we serve.


This innovative program is under tentative funding from the State of California, as authorized by a joint house bill passed April 2nd, 2008, but it is administered by outside agencies. Complaints should not be directed to the state itself, but rather the agencies acting all over her behalf.
